Course Description

30km Loop

You will start with a field splitting 2km hill climb to reach the top ridge where you will continue to follow along the tree line to the 14km high point on the station.

The next 3kms of downhill starts descends quickly to link the top ridge track with the bottom river track. You will stay on this track through to the last 3km hill climb and then it’s a sweet fast 2km descent to the finish.

There is a mix of tracks from hard formed clay to gravel road to grassy farm track. There could potentially be some rough bumpy ground in places depending on how the tracks come through winter.

Total elevation is: Just shy of 1000m

Expected fast finish time to be about 2hrs.

20km Loop

Like the 30km loop you will start with a field splitting 2km hill climb to reach the top ridge where you will continue to follow along the tree line to the 8.6km mark before taking a left and enjoying a super fun 2.6km farm track descent.

You will link up with the bottom river track, take a hard left and head back towards the finish. You will stay on this track through to the last 3km hill climb and then it’s a sweet fast 2km descent to the finish.

There is a mix of tracks- from hard formed clay to gravel road and grassy farm track. There could potentially be some rough bumpy ground in places depending on how the tracks come through winter.

Total elevation about 710m.  Expected fast finish time to be about 1hr 15mins.

5km Hill Climb Loop

This is not your average 5km run round the block! Expect to be climbing for 2kms of the loop and descending for the other 3kms of the loop. 40% on firm gravel track and 60% farm grass tracks.

Elevation gain of about 380m.
